Deposited by glacial movement ages ago, then worn smooth in the rushing rivers of Maine, these smooth, flecked rocks have been collected from hidden waterways. Tiny stubborn trees grow from deep within the cracks of the stones.

Oak trees, tall magestic giants, start out in tiny packages. This diminutive oak sapling is small, but holds the promise of a greater majesty for the future. Slated for Greatness has a single strand of root anchoring it to a small piece of rock layered with quartz, granite and micah.

In Ohio, a carefully sculpted prehistoric snake shape winds its way out of the earth and whispers of mystery. This perseverant but tiny Maple clings to a rock woven around with a serpentine swirl of white quartz resembling a snake. Serpent's Mound is drilled deep into the gray rock.

Pink granite can be found all over the coastal water ways of Maine, and the color of the rock gives Acadia National Park an unique, warm glow. This windswept evergreen is like many that can be found decorating the hiking trails in the heart of Maine's national park system.

Maple syrup is boiled down from the sap of the Sugar Maple, a type maple tree that is native to the state of Maine.  Sugar Mama's deep roots are wrapped around a piece of rain pocked limestone.

Rings of quartz that completely bisect a rock have been called lucky rings and are thought to bring good luck to the possessor of the ringed lucky rock. This persistent oak tree has made a home deep within the cracks of a lucky break. Lucky Break has been drilled deep into the center of a slate slab lined repeatedly with veins of quartz.

Just as every tree is a one of a kind beauty, no CopperTree sculpture is exactly like the other.

Please allow for individual differences in stones, geodes crystals and tree formation.
